And the vlad's back...
I've been in the outer side, yes you know which one, the RL.
Thursday afternoon: I went with a friend to grab a cup of coffe, then dig in some 1946 documents about the salt extraction in Mx (dont wask me how i did get involved in such bizarre research). The cool part besides of helping a friend, was that teh place were the documents are stored (a small library of a local univeristy), it was colonial house that was rebuilt, in the ground level it was a cafe with a small art exhibition and in the upper level the library. After two hours of me readint, doodling between chapters and gathering ideas for ihooky (yes, i 've been workin, whadda' you think?), they start to play jazz in the cafe shop. Yes, a live band start to play, it was nice. But because the music and the closing time for the library, we have to leave. Too bad we didnt stay, as the coffe shop was PACKED by then. We went to another place and have a nice conversation.
Next day... friday, hard to describe, as the entire morning I did work fixing computers (and i havent finished yet), then around lunch time I have to help a uncle of mine with his car, a car who did get from the dealership where I used to work. I did went with him and talk with my "internal" contacts there for a faster service. And that's a nice way to call it: FASTER... :/ I did spend the entire afternoon there jumping bewteen offices and stuff. But at the end I barely did it. I did arrive just one hour before a meeting with friends. Just enough time to call them, check the battle plan with them by phone and take a shower.
*sigh*
The place was suppsed to be a coo' place. It was, the only problem was it really did look like a fashion bar or something like that, because it was packed/swarmed with snob people (somehting that i cant stand), we have to make a reservation for the place for Mort Duck sake! When in other cities, the same place just a regluar place. Considering the fact that I was there only for a couple of drinks and the food, i was near to say "fsck off, lets find another place". We did wait for 15 mins for a table and then, everything was
good.
Was a nice couple of days, but now, I have ot pay, need ot finish to fix those machines, then do a couple of comics and update them!
Going back to the net matters... it is fscking sad that the USA goverm't spend lots of money in war,
but cutting the founds to projects such as the Hubble. Okay, it is better if the money were used to help the people affected by the tsunami (Place a donation, the banner is up there).
Also, found this in the net
Buba Comix. Its such a piece of art from a talented artist: Jose Quintero. Too bad its all in spansih for all the guys out there who cant speak it. But its worth the visit to the galleries. For those who speak spanish, read Buba and El Pote. In a phrase
"Teh Win".
A comic is in the oven, it will be updated as soon as it is ready! :D
Later!
Comic updated! Sorry for the delay, but as usual, unforseen events happens.
