Vlad's adventures:Sorry guys for the lack of comic last friday. As i did write, I did have a network-electrical-wire gig. Nothing that looks complicated. The deal is that I have to wire a big mofo piece of furniture. A desk at least 5 mts long. NO kidding, the whole thing was that big. I did have to punch holes w/ a drill to pass cables, then pass wires under sections that were 2 metters long and try to aim the wires to fit in a whole not bigger than 1 inch. Lots of fun I can tell you.
And finally when i did finish all the wiring. I did install the computers there. Guess what? Monitor down. Okaaay it happens. Then a computer (thank God it wasnt the server) didnt connect, it did drive me crazy. It happen that the ethernet cable was damaged. I did punch a new cable and everything works again. Now time to check the Interweb. if you tell me that the telephone wire was faulty too, well.. you damn right.
The whole thing did take like 10 hours. Well earn money. But it did delay me in some other stuff that I have to do. Graphic design, websites and such (read the comic).
I did miss the broadcast of the
Uk web and mini comix thing. No fun -_-
But I did have my own fun in home.
And there's the comic that was supposed to be here last weekend. Even if did take me to complete sweet time.
Got some suprises here, maybe a guest week? If you feel like doing a guest comic for ihooky, well.. why not? just keep it PG-13.
